One China Policy is obsolete!

Visiting President Bush told Beijing yesterday that "the position of my government has not 
changed over the years" regarding Taiwan.  

However, Taiwan has changed completely. Thanks to the tireless efforts of its intelligent, 
hard-working people, Taiwan has developed into a model democracy. The Taiwanese people have 
achieved effective self-determination.  

I believe it is time for United States, founded on the principle of self-determination, 
to change its policy and formally recognize Taiwan's independent status. 

The present One China Policy is obsolete!

Only One Taiwan One China policy will make sense and achieve peace in Asia!
