Please!!!!

This e-mail is intened for Richard Holbrooke, US 
Ambassador to the United Nations.  I hope anyone who 
reads this will give him this e-mail.

I am extremely disappointed in your hardline stance and 
impatience with the plight of the Taiwanese people.  I 
cannot understand why you and the US administration is 
taking the side of Communist China.  I sincerely hope it 
is not only for economic reasons.  

Taiwan has been an independent and self-governing nation 
for 51 years.  China has had no say on the Taiwanese 
political and economic policy.  They (China) claims that 
Taiwan is part of "one China", in fact, Taiwan became 
what it is today, no thanks to China, but to Japanese 
rule of the island and U.S. intervention in the later 
years.  The communist government are opportunists that 
seek to conquer land with no heed to human being, human 
rights,or the democratic process, rather, communist China 
is a political machine that will destroy everything to 
satisfy the few ruling politicians.  

China claims it has deed to Taiwan simply by geography, 
but they (China) does not take heed to the people, whom 
the majority are not from China, cultural difference and 
ethnicity. 

I am 25 years old,  I have only known Taiwan as the 
country I was born and the Taiwanes culture which has 
been instilled in me.  I do not recognize myself as 
Chinese and will never.  I am a Taiwanese American.
