I am not Taiwanese. Although I'm a Canadian citizen I was born in Italy. I am a businessman and I travel to Taiwan frequently. As a matter of fact I have been going and doing business in Taiwan for over 30 years. During that time I have learned a great deal about Taiwan's history and culture and about TAIWANESE people. I have loved this Country and it's people from my first visit. I agree and support your organization's views for an independent Taiwan and for all the obvious reasons recognition by the UN and the major world powers. I have written a letter to the Secretary General of the UN to allow Taiwan to be part of the UN. I'm a nobody but I'm doing all I can, no matter how small and insignificant that may be, to promote Taiwan's independence.
