"Taiwan name rectification": what's next?
deal all,
1. it is very crucial for "taiwan name rectification movement"
to launch a large-scale "protect native regime march" before
the presidential election. the originally planned 500,000
march for May 11, 2004, will be much less effective if taiwan
falls again into the hands of a non-native regime.
2. it's also crucial for "taiwan name rectification movement"
to maintain its momentum by also attacking some intermediate
and concrete targets, like changing the name of overseas
"chinese cultural service center" of OCAC. any name that still
has "chinese" in it.
3. for overseas taiwanese: of all the things we can do to help
win the presidential election again, there is nothing more
effective and simpler than helping people "register to vote".
just get the forms and instructions and set up a regular weekly
schedule (like every saturday) in church or any public place to
help people register to vote. if they don't register, they can't vote,
no matter how much they love taiwan. we have no time to lose
now.
